It's been a tough couple of weeks, losing musicians and friends. I had already recorded the 1st hour of my show when I heard the news about Frank Wyatt. We had known him for a long time, Paul has known him twice as long as I and it was very sad news to hear he was gone. So the 2nd hour is devoted to music he was part of. This Sunday 1/15/2023 from 10pm to Midnight EDT on Radio Fairfax at www.fcac.org/radio-fairfax and on Cable in the No. Virginia area (COX, Verizon and Comcast in Reston) The Prog-Rock Diner serves some new to me and new releases including Nubdug Ensemble, Amanda Chaudhary (new EP), from Canterburied in Seattle 2002: Richard Sinclair and David Rees-Williams, Hughscore and Glass, from Just Jay (& His Sonic Sphere of Acquaintance: The Weaszels, OHO. The 2nd portion of the menu is dedicated to the work of Frank Wyatt with music from: Frank Wyatt & Friends, Happy The Man, Oblivion Sun and Pedal Giant Animals. Yes it is! I actually have a pretty good amount of music by them but I never saw them perform.
