Does anybody know, is there some way on a mobile device to grab this thingy to resize the box where typing takes place?
It doesn't seem to work unless I'm on a real computer.

Not that I'm aware of. As you type past the capacity of the window, it scrolls downwards, but it's a royal pain in the arse to type long replies on a mobile, for this (& other) reasons.

My related gripe is that the on-screen keyboard obscures your typing most of the time. Dumb dumb dumb.
