Jimmy G is a game manager, which is fine if he has enough talent around him to carry the load. However, that's not what he's likely to have in Vegas. Also, he gets hurt a lot. The Lions acquire David Montgomery from The Bears. I suspect this will mean the end of the Jamal Williams era in Detroit. Williams has become a fan favorite and had a great year this year, but he is a free agent and probably wanting to get paid. I was really hoping he would get re-signed, but it is what it is. Montgomery should make an immediate impact with the team, sharing duties with De’Andre Smith.

There's a lot of bad ideas here. If they implement all the "review" changes, games will regularly take 3-1/2 - 4 hours and go from enjoyable to endurable.
I haven't read the whole list (yet), but the 4th & 20 instead of an onsides kick is pretty interesting.
And literally every play/call should be reviewable, period. And you should have unlimited challenges if you keep winning them. Lose a challenge and you're done, or maybe lose 2 challenges - whatever. But it's pretty clear by now that the officiating cannot keep up with the speed of the game and teams should not be punished for officials' incompetence.

Ha! I mean, he's a 3x Pro-Bowl QB, 100 more TD than INT over his career. He has the skills and league experience to help develop younger talent. And 10+ years less experience. They just need a 2-year bridge. It's not just Dalton, he's got Frank Reich and Josh McCown...both of whom have a wealth of experience at QB position, even if they lack rings.
Behind the offensive line the Panthers have put together, it’s easy to imagine Dalton having moderate success. Might need some wideouts, but, well, some shit ain’t going to be perfect.
