It clearly says Yes Epics & Classics WITH Jon Anderson AND The Band Geeks.
Yes is part of Jon's legacy and co-ownership of these great songs he was part of creating.
I have no problem with the marketing, and I think the promotion makes it clear it's Jon AND The Band Geeks.
If casual Yes fans get confused, that's on them.
Having seen Jon perform on his solo tour, and seen videos of The Band Geeks performing Yes music, I don't think they'd be disappointed if they went to the concert anyway, even if they get there and find out Chris Squire's not playing bass anymore. lol

The marketing is intentional, even if its far-fetched. They know EXACTLY what they are doing.

Holy crap, that sounds amazing. A few slight vocal glitches aside, that may be the best live version of this song I've ever heard. They really nail that big crescendo at the end, which has always felt a bit weak to me live, from any era.

The ageless Jon Anderson seems to have aged just a pinch, but still totally delivers the goods. Too bad they're not playing near Boston, I would definitely have gone to see this.

They sound quite good. I would like it better if they stretched things out and played around a little more. It’s a little weird to hear a live “Awaken” that is nearly the same length as the studio version.

Wow! Hope he releases a document of these concerts. Puts the current Yes to shame! As much as I love Howes playing, Jon Anderson IS Yes, he carries the spirit.

Must admit I cried at the Keyboard section before ‘High Vibration…’ Stunning.

I guess it’s one thing if you are seeing it live in front of you in real time, but I still don’t get why anyone would reach for a current YesOfficial live album or a hypothetical Anderson/Band Geeks live release when live Yes from 1969-2004 is so extensively documented via both official releases and bootlegs. That stuff is the real deal and kicks so much more butt. I do enjoy In The Present: Live From Lyon for the Drama tracks and Live At The Apollo (despite the crowd noise controversy) because the ARW arrangements depart from studio recordings in some interesting ways, but the other post 2008 live releases are largely a waste because it’s so easy to hear those songs done so much better.

Awakening was really well done. I'd go to see Jon in a moment if he played near me.

Sounds absolutely glorious, and I’d really like to see this live. But I stopped going to Yes shows some 30 years ago specifically because their audiences always seemed determined to ruin the experience. The last time I saw them I sat behind two guys who carried on a loud discussion about how many times they had each seen Rick Wakeman, ignoring the man himself playing his solo spot right in front of their goddamned faces. This video tells me that the punters haven’t acquired any better manners in the interim. (Not least, I suppose, because the video only exists courtesy of some guy who must have been holding up his phone all through the performance.) I don’t know why Yes audiences should be more obnoxious than any others, but that’s been my experience.

Are the two Band Geeks on the left twins? Clones?

Got my tickets for the show at the new Capital One Hall near Tysons Corner. VA. Very close to the Mclean metro stop.

The videos I've watched are a revelation in terms of Jon's voice. Who knew it would get better as he got older.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

No, they do not appear to be related.

That was quite good - as I was able to listen on the Hifi rather than phone.

Super disappointed this is not coming near me as of yet. I really hope they add more dates. What a great performance, in the correct tempo no less!

Compared to Howe's 'Yes' that I saw last November, well, never mind. It just doesn't matter anymore. Listening to Howe's band's rendition of Awaken from one of their many recent live releases, 2019 I think?, and how inferior it is, I'm kind of glad Steve is content to be in a mediocre band that is 'drama' less for him to be comfortable in. Let him do the best he can with what he's chosen to work with. I'll listen to that too on record.

The amazing way Anderson still sounds, he's better off playing the classics with musicians who can actually play the classics.

Not surprised of the opinions of Jon sounded good. He was last year:

I give the edge to the ARW version over Toddmobile, but that might be partially because the Toddmobile “Awaken” gets posted so often.

Interesting how I was led to these clips. The recent Steve Howe interview video popped up this evening which led me to listen to Dare to Know live clip... when you compare the Awaken "energy" to Dare to Know.. geez.. looking forward to viewing the other videos that have been posted..
Edit.. the Close to the Edge clip is smoking..

I just got back from the Brit Floyd show in Baltimore, and saw the May 6 Anderson/Geeks show advertised at the venue. Wasn't sure if I was going to pull the trigger on this until I saw the Youtube videos.

I am completely blown away and I'm grabbing balcony seats immediately. How does Jon still sing like this at 78 years old? If he sprouted wings and flew away I wouldn't be surprised
