Best Wired Ear Bud Headphones Reco Needed

My wired ear bud headphones just died, any recommendations on the best ones out there in the $50 ~ $150 range?

I have heard that Sennheiser IE 900 are 'the ones', but I have no personal experience with ear buds. Sennheiser though is usually first class.

These are the very ones I use - & on the basis of use, was going to recommend.

I've been using Grado's GR8e Wired earbuds for about 5 years. They were pricy at $299.00! I am Still amazed at the sensitivity of these units. Hearing drumsticks hitting the floor and rolling away.....musicians breathing in quiet interludes....and of course, stellar clarity.

Cut them in half closing my cardoor a couple years ago and they replaced them for $75.00....I thought that was good service since It Was my fault.

I know they are out of your specific price range....but I thought I'd throw them in there.

My own searches show that "wired" headphones/ earbuds seem to be disappearing in favor of wireless. Disturbing because earbuds for me fall out at random times and wireless means they will get lost.

The GR8e's seem to be missing from the website now but the Even Pricer GR10e's are still there:

I'm wondering if I should get a pair before "wired" goes away for ever....
