The last record convention I attended was 90% vinyl + 10% posters, ZERO CDs. I'm sure most conventions now are the same, so your chances of selling your CD collection are very slim to none.

When I left Texas to relocate, I took about 50% of my CDs with me and sold the rest to Half price Books in Houston that at least have a market price scanning system that will slightly benefit the seller. But you'll end up losing for the most part. Almost no one buys CDs anymore, much less the prog stuff.
