Happy Accidents as a whole is one of my favourites, there's something about that combination of super infectiously catchy melodies and hard avant prog-ism meeting somewhere in the middle.
'Sent Flying' on the expanded edition too is a particular standout.
Gore played drums on tracks 1,3,4, while I drummed on tracks 5,6.
Yup, I was trying to emulate the drummer on Hawkwinds ‘in search of space’, you know, Mr. Leadfoot! The 1st gig I played drums was at my 1971 bar mitzvah party with my brothers band, Oakfield. We did the ten years after version of ‘good morning little schoolgirl’ with lyrics such as , ‘oh babe I wanna ball you.’ This with my orthodox grandparents sitting in he ‘audience.’ A splendid time….
Okay I need to explain myself here, I knew Steve F had a connection to this band playing guitar on Happy Accidents so that's what first popped into my little brain forgetting that this duo were both named Steve.
I gave Ridin' On A Bummer a 4.5 star review recently.

Fun videos, James!
And the code is a play, a play is a song, a song is a film, a film is a dance...
i plan to share them on our patreon https://www.patreon.com/rascalreporters
However the Unknowable MIDI is not very accurate for anything except the kick and snare - as the synth, horns, guitar, bass etc. are all audio tracks instead of MIDI based, I had to use Audio to MIDI conversion on each individual layer, so while it has the overall timing and shape of the notes, it's quite messy with a lot of erroneous notes throughout!
The Uh Oh MIDI is more accurate as I recorded a lot of that using MIDI to control the synths and keys in the first place, so only the live bass track had to be converted to MIDI!
'I Cries Crimes' was included in the best tracks of the week in the latest The Needle Drop weekly track roundup! @8:38
It's in the post!! Next week. Thanks Steve!

Preview of 3 more tracks in this trailer! 'Papa Norco', 'The Odor at Tavistock', & 'How Archontic the Ankle Biters'
Oh yesh, we stuffed it to the brim. I remember coming up to the last tracks Steve would ask me how much time left we have to spare on the CD, and he made sure to fill it haha! If it was vinyl it would definitely be a double album
Thanks for your kind words! I am glad you like the bass, my favourite bass parts I've ever written are on this album!
But does music belong in humour?!?! lol thank you!
We are hosting a listening party for the album on Thursday July 27th, 7PM EDT. We would love everyone who can to join us and experience the album together with us (and ask us anything you like!!)
