H'mmm.
November 1981: King Crimson, Old Waldorf, San Francisco - touring
Discipline, played a couple of unreleased songs (I at least remember "Neal and Jack and Me," and I probably misremember hearing "LTIA3," but that is burned into my memory somehow.)
April 1977: Peter Gabriel, Winterland Arena, San Francisco - touring "car," killer version of "All Day and All of the Night."
April 1977: Utopia, Winterland San Francisco - touring
RA, possibly the most inventive stage show I've ever seen.
June 1976: The Tubes, Bimbo's 365 room, San Francisco - shortly after the release of
Young and Rich, quite certainly the
wildes stage show I've ever seen.
April 1978: Bowie, Oakland Coliseum, Oakland - touring
"Heroes" (the "Isolar 2" tour): first time I ever saw Adrian Belew and was only slightly disappointed that he was not Fripp
July 4, 1981: "Day on the Green," Oakland Colisseum - Blue Oyster Cult,
Heart, Pat Travers, 415 (Eric Martin), Loverboy, and
Ozzy Osbourne -- yes, I did see Ozzy with Randy Rhoades (pbuh). We were mainly there to see Heart though
Bonus because I can't resist: September 9, 1976: "Day on the Green," Oakland Colisseum - the Who and the Grateful Dead. The first time I ever saw either of these; the only time I saw the Who with Keith Moon (pbuh).
