Solstein debut album ft White Willow, Steely Dan members

Out today, our Solstein album features Steely Dan/Toto/Christopher Cross drummer Keith Carlock, myself, ex-White Willow keyboardist Brynjar Dambo, US progger Bill Bressler and up-and-coming Norwegian jazz guitarist Stian Larsen.

It's a melodic mixture of instrumental prog, fusion and a bit of funk.
Out on Is It Jazz? Records now. Listen here:

Like I wrote in the Norway-thread: got this one yesterday (ordered CD from Is It Jazz? Records. It's playing right now for the x-time (which is easy with its 36 minutes). Great to hear this new guitarist, Stian Larsen! And of course I love it to hear Bill Bressler again after his solo-album Normal Boy.

I guess I'm so in the mood of (the sound of) this album I decided to listen to the start of this project again, the previous collaboration between Jacob and Keith Carlock: Donner and the album Hesitant Light. Guess what, now it clicked and I ordered it right away.

I purchased the Solstein album download from Bandcamp and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Very nice job, Jacob! I’ll probably buy the CD once it’s available from US distributors.

    Thanks for kind words here.

I see the album is now available from The Laser’s Edge, among others.
