Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit
Some jazzrock/fusion albums coming out in July on Belle Antique in Japan as SHM mini-LP CDs:
WOLFGANG DAUNER’S ET CETERA – Live
JASPER VAN’T HOF’S PORK PIE – The Door is Open
H.KOLLER, W.DAUNER, A. ROIDINGER, Z. SEIFERT, J. STEFANSKI – Kunststopfindianer
JOACHIM KÜHN – Cinemascope
As far as I understand, only Kunststopfindianer has so far been rereleased on CD.
WOLFGANG DAUNER’S ET CETERA – Live
wow. that's great news! Going to be expensive as hell, but I will definitely buy it once it makes it way to america.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.
Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.
I'm only here to reglaze my bathtub.
Coming soon on the Swiss WRWTFWW Records "the long anticipated official reissue of Chrysalide (1978), the sole album from French multi-instrumentalist and enigmatic genius Michel Moulinié. The krautrock/ambient/minimalism paragon is available as a limited edition LP with one never-heard bonus track. It is sourced from the original reels and housed in a heavy 350gsm sleeve. Originally released in 1978 on Ange and Jean-Claude Pognant's mythical prog rock label Crypto, Chrysalide is a fusion of minimalist meditations, cosmic soundscapes, and ambient with a human warmth, carried by a profoundly beautiful and unique use of twelve-string guitar, bass, and violin."
Limited Edition of 500
Great news (at least for me). Belle Antique in Japan is rereleasing as a SHM mini-LP cover CD the only album by Italian Etna from 1975. It came out as a similar release in 2010, but it is hard to come by. Discogs f. ex has three copies for sale, from €105.91 - €165.00 + shipping. I'm happy that I did not buy ;-).
Also on 25th August coming out the following SHM CDs: Semiramis, Dedicato a Frazz, Apoteosi s/t and Yes, Beyond and before : BBC Recordings 1969-1970.
Not actually a re-issue since it was never (officially) issued so far.
CHICAGO's 1971 John F.Kennedy Center full concert is announced for release in september in 4LP or 3CD format.
This is the classic original lineup playing their best repertoire.
The tracklist makes my mouth water.
Not to be missed. Will be my first CHICAGO purchase since... 1974 ! (C. VII)

And after that If we could have an (official) DVD (video) release of the 1970 Tanglewood concert, it would fulfill on of my oldest dreams.

The only album by the German band Tonic has been recently released on CD: Laser Edge
If you don't know this album, here it is, in its entirety:
^ If anyone has this on original vinyl in nice condition and wants to sell it, pm me.
American prog band UNDER THE SUN's only studio album has been reissued.
You say Mega Ultra Deluxe Special Limited Edition Extended Autographed 5-LP, 3-CD, 4-DVD, 2-BlueRay, 4-Cassette, five 8-Track, MP4 Download plus Demos, Outtakes, Booklet, T-Shirt and Guitar Pick Gold-Leafed Box Set Version like it's a bad thing...
If you mean the original self-titled Magna Carta-album from 2000 (indeed with the track Dreamcatcher), you could file Under The Sun in the category of bands that still perform under the same name but without any of the original members. As you can read on their website and Discogs the band released two other CD's before this one, but without the musicians on this album:
https://www.underthesunrocks.com/
https://www.discogs.com/artist/79374-Under-The-Sun
According to ebay this is a re-issue on Magna Carta from June this year, but does that label still exists??: https://www.ebay.com/itm/364974301059
I noticed some other shops sell it too: https://platinummusicandsports.com/UPC/889466588228
I really doubt there's any connection. On Discogs it says they're from Cincinnati, Ohio and the prog band on Magna Carta was from California. Says the current UTS used to be an original band but now plays covers. No mention on their website of being in any way connected to the prog UTS, even if it would be different members now.

The original LP does € 199 on Discogs, but since a few months there's a new LP-version (including a bonus-single) of Tranquility, the 1977-album by Dutch Treat featuring (amongst others) Hans Hollestelle (Spin), Wim Essed (Rob Franken) and Jan Huydts (The Keyboard Circle). The easy listening prog (with some fine Mellotron-flutes, Arp Odyssey Synths and Fender Rhodes) is also available on CD for the first time.

Interesting news just being released by Laurent Thibault:
Le Château sur la Loire is preparing the reissue of the Univeria Zekt The Unanables album. The vinyl will be released with its double cover on the original Thélème brand. A bonus track will be attached, namely the first original version of Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh which was presented in live version on the album Thélème Puissance 13 + 2. I will personally remaster all the titles at Château sur la Loire. A subscription will be opened very soon. Depending on the results, a USB key including the CD version of the album and its bonus may be included in the box set. A minimum of 400 pre-orders will be required. We will try to reproduce the original cover, with its embossed paper.
A box set bringing together Univeria Zekt and the double-cover vinyl reissue of my album “Mais on ne peut pas rêver tout le temps” would also be available. Subscription details will be published within a week.
