I kind of want to not kick in as punishment for releasing it on LP but not CD. I’d prefer for it to be download-only rather than them producing an LP but no CD. I just think that’s wrong - it’s very close to them releasing it on cassette only. I’ll probably just stream the album on Bandcamp a couple of times.
I believe they are planning to issue both vinyl and CD. From the FAQ: "Hi! We were initially NOT going to include the option for pre-ordering vinyl or a CD, but considering how enthusiastic everyone is being, and the delivery dates on those packages, it looks like we WILL be adding an LP and/or CD to the 1K or above goodie bags!"

Never been to a Big Ears. Maybe next year is the time to take the plunge. Time to check out the line-up.

It's a strong lineup, stronger than the last few years (for me personally).

Wow. These guys can play. The vocals? Not my bag. Are there any SGM releases that don't feature the growling?

Other than the song Helpless Corpses Enactment, I've never thought of the vocals as growling, at all. Just delivered in a lower register. YMMV, of course.
