Vaylor is friends with Sean, I got to set the theme and offer input for his show on Max Webster's Mutiny Up My Sleeve. I know there is some Max fans out there!! Vaylor rated Mutiny Up My Sleeve 20/10. Check it out and let me know what you think.

    Here's what Sean said:

[Voyage of the Acolyte- First Impressions
Rather than post this in someone else's thread about this album, I figure I will just start a thread about it of my own. My apologies for doing that last week in the Canterbury thread when we discussed Rock Bottom. There's a better way....

If you caught the thread about this YouTube series my friend Vaylor Trucks is doing this Fall, then you know about this already. I know some of you stick more to the main board though so I'm working this from two angles.

This is a different kind of reaction video. One where the listener does a first impression and then they go back and listen to the album for a few more days. They do some research on it and comes back with further impressions once that is done. Vaylor also composes and performs all the music in each show. Each time it is written in the style of the album that is being discussed. I can't think of anyone else that goes to these lengths and I think it makes for an entertaining show. How he managed to miss this one the first time is beyond me. He likes it, but does not love it. Check out why....

Greg, have you seen some new 8mm footage of Max Webster that was released recently on YT? I think it's the same guy from Ontario who shot the new Floyd and Rush 8mm footage that was also recently released on YT.

Well, sadly, it just small snippets here and there. It can be frustrating, but it give us a good idea of what the band was at the time.

I'm still interested. I saw Max many times in the 1970s. They were very well known in my circle of friends.

my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
