Music that just makes you happy

This thread is for music that isn't necessarily prog, not even necessarily technically good ... just music that makes you feel happy.

I begin by offering the music from these end credits. Particularly the first three minutes.

Let's have some more happy stuff.
    Impera littera designata delenda est.

Interviewer of reprobate ne'er-do-well musicians of the long-haired rock n' roll persuasion at: www.velvetthunder.co.uk and former scribe at Classic Rock Society. Only vaguely aware of anything other than music.

This is a somber song about happiness...

What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)

This one does it for me all the time. Can listen to it forever.

    Love the lyrics:

When you're feeling like Herman Hess
And you're playing too much chess,
Just have a beer, no need to fear, and get a life.

Thomas Dolby's "Hyperactive" is a good one!

I'll add most of Moon Safari's output to the list

Bill Bruford's Feels Good To Me (title track) - a very jaunty tune, I was playing it in my living room when one of my kids came in (5 or 6 years of age) and asked if it was Sonic The Hedgehog music. I think of that every time I hear it.

Bad Dog U - Recess; such a great vibe, always lifts my spirits

The one sure-fire go-to I've had for years and years when I'm feeling down or sad and need to put a smile on my face is Olias of Sunhillow. Works every time.

    Alternatively, any Steely Dan whatsoever.

    The Dan - great call!

Lots of English prog/whatever makes me grin...Cardiacs, tons of Canterbury (Hatfield, Gong, Caravan, National Health, early Soft Machine, etc), Zappa, Tull, Beardfish, etc and tons of others

Kind of strange considering some of the lyrics towards the end but this is one that does it for me:

Do not suffer through the game of chance that plays....always doors to lock away your dreams (To Be Over)
