Colosseum - lost album 1971 (Repertoire)

Tapes apparently found in Hiseman's basement
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

Not much time left if it’s going to come out in November 2023, and they still aren’t telling exactly what’s on it. We already have Colosseum’s version of the epic “The Pirate’s Dream” on the Morituri Te Salutant box set, so I’m not going to get excited until I see exactly what they’ve come up with in the way of genuinely unreleased studio material.

The first disc seems wasteful and doesn't appear to me to add anything substantial, beyond adding to the price.

The album title jumped out as being familiar, (turns out it was). I might be biased, but can't help thinking that this version is an improvement over the earlier Colosseum version on YouTube. Thanks largely to having A.H. on guitar and violin.

The title track showed up on the BBC "Transmission" recordings too.

^^^ Four out of the five titles on this supposed "Lost Album" appear on Disc 6 of the BBC "Transmissions" set. The only thing that I've never heard of is "Thank God For Things That Grow".

Nonetheless, as long as they are different *versions* at least, I'm in. I'm kind of a completist with Colosseum.

Me too. Still hoping to hear the current lineup tackle The Pirates Dream.

Same here. I'll be looking for this.

Looking forward to my day in court.
