Even though I'm not a fan of Happy Birthday , a I've heard it so many times , I'm not looking forward to the time I'll never hear it again.

Eeesh. Someone put "Livin' on A Prayer" on the jukebox. And loud people are singing the chorus. I'm done. Outta here.....

I'm not sick of the song, I like it. It's power pop. I bought a cup of coffee at the cafeteria at work, and now they have this classic rock music playing. Today I heard......Toto....Tow The Line.

Love isn't always on time!..Wo wo wo!....

It's really the only Toto song I like. Mainly, I hate Toto.

I seemed to have heard "new years day" by U2 a lot lately. I'm kind of tired of it. Recently I bought a used cd copy of War at a thrift store so maybe I'll skip that one when it comes on. I love hearing the deep tracks on albums though but radio has ruined certain songs by only playing the "hits."

Since yesterday and now I've been subjected to a few songs from the list, at the pubs.

I've Got Friends In Low Places

    Sweet Home Alabama

    Country Roads

    Sweet Caroline (I'm not kidding....)

I didn't realize that it was even a thing apart from Fenway.
Don't do the "wave", and I talk to my seatmate during the stupid Neil Diamond song, not even sorry.

It started in Fenway, but has now spread all over the country (and the world). Here in Michigan it is played at pretty much every sporting event I attend regardless of sport.

The only Neil Diamond song I've heard so far that I can call a "good" song is The Last Picasso.

That bloated dirge that is Jerusalem - even the ELP version which is my least favourite track on BSS - Yep..I'd rather have Benny!
I'll agree that there's some decent melodies hidden in there but the whole thing just drags IMHO.

I really love Jerusalem. Everytime I heard it on The last night of The Proms, I had to think on the ELP version and the next day I often played Welcome back my friends...

I can't hear that song without thinking of Graham Chapman with a bag on his head and Eric Idle standing in a tea chest.

I've heard Sunshine Of Your Love a few times in pubs this weekend. I'm nowhere near being sick of it.

We finished our gig on Friday with Sweet Caroline - much to our drummer's chagrin. Every single person still there at 1 am was dancing and singing including the bar staff.

    I'm okay with that.

Sat down at the pub and I'm hearing.....Deacon Blues. I won't say I'm sick of it, but Aja is the Dan album I like the least. This is when they became slick, yacht rock ..
