Yankees have sucked for nearly four weeks. They clearly over-performed the first two months and now it looks like last year all over again. Injuries have played a big part here, but the lack of depth is the real problem. It's a poorly constructed roster.
It's a long season and they should turn things around and end up where they're supposed to be. But they were predicted by many to finish last. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

A gift from the worst "closer" in baseball who leads the league in blown saves and, somehow, is an all-star. And a manager (one of the worst I've ever seen) who, somehow, leaves him in when it's clear he has no idea where the ball is going once it leaves his hand. This was after another terrible closer on the O's blew it, somehow gets a win and, yes, is an all-star.
A true microcosm of the season.

Tigers go into the all-star break winning 8 of their last 10 games with the last two being bottom of the 9th inning comebacks. They are still 12 games behind Cleveland in the division, but are a lot of fun to watch lately.
