Great interview with Mikael and Fredrik. Beyonde excited for next Friday! Waltteri is quite an accomplished player and it took him 6 months to learn the drum parts on this album. This makes me even more excited.

Good to know! I canceled my Amazon preorder for the vinyl which had no delivery estimate and placed at order with LE

Listening to the album now, I think it's going to turn away a lot of folks who jumped on with Heritage.

I apparently have a CD and a Blackwater Park T shirt coming from OMerch, hopefully soon. I'm going to listen to it in a bit on headphones. I'm reading VERY favorable reviews and that this a prog album with death metal moments, as opposed to a death metal album with proggy moments. The show I saw back in October at Kings Theater in Brooklyn was absolutely brilliant. I was grinning the entire fucking time. I love this band so much. Cardiacs level.

If Ian sings on it, he can handle the death growls with his normal vocals now.

I've got a double silver vinyl with a signed art card coming at some point. Not sure if it's shipping from a US location or UK, so it may take a while to get here. I'll probably get the cd release locally in the meantime to tide me over.

I've met the band (in 2012 - same lineup as today except for the drummer), and they've signed things for me, plus I've got the signed Perpetual Journey book, which is cool. Looking forward to this album!

It's very proggy, but also really heavy. So it's heavier than anything since Watershed but also proggier than anything before Heritage, if that makes sense. I think all songs except three have growls.
