I remember some years ago seeing a CD in a record shop of In The Court of the Crimson King which had a distinctly blue tint instead of the usual red. Didn't appear to be a special edition or anything so might have been a pirate?
Maybe this one will be the true Octopus.

This (the "spaceship" Vertigo release) was the version I originally had, and I had no idea it was Roger Dean that did the artwork (since his name appears nowhere in the credits) until years later when someone on the Internet told me. I kind of felt cheated out of not getting the cool die-cut domestic version, but my copy probably had better sound (in those days, I wasn't looking for specific versions in general, I just bought the first copy I found of an album I wanted).
Which is a little funny, as the artwork predates Weathers being a member by a few years.
Could be worse. Could be this.
