my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
Lots of great stuff already mentioned, so here's a few I've enjoyed that haven't come up already on this thread:
Kyros - Mannequin
Perfect - Monkey Jockey Man and the Safari Tick Sugar
Plantoid - Terrapath
Tom Penaguin - Tom Penaguin
Laucan & Samuel Organ - LORCAN
The Chronicles of Father Robin - The Songs & Tales of Airoea - Book III: Magical Chronicle (Ascension)
Big Big Train - The Likes of Us
BONUS SUGGESTION: The Lemon Twigs - A Dream Is All We Know (OK, not prog, but so fun!)
Tom Penaguin's album is amazing and so perfectly produced - wow! "LORCAN" is beautiful and fascinating. The Chronicles of Father Robin's album is pretty uneven for me, but lots of lovely parts - and I love the vintage production. "The Likes of Us" was a really pleasant surprise because I was not loving the new singer... really solid enjoyable album. And The Lemon Twigs' "A Dream Is All We Know" because I love it for the same reasons I love great prog rock - it's clever, beautiful, surprising and multi-layered.
4 releases stand out for me so far:
Present - This is not the end
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - of the last human being
This Celestial Engine - S/t
Arooj Aftab - Night Reign
Los of others I enjoyed as well
Oren Ambarchi, Johan Berthling and Andreas Werliin - Ghosted ii
Goat - Joy in Fea
Don Li - COSMOTONICS 7x7
SGM of the Last Human Being
RhùnTozzos
Ronin Rhythm Clan: Moonday

Avalanche Kaito Talitakum
Forgot the Don Li, need to check that.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Having received advance previews of the new Ritual and MEER albums, I can confidently say both are excellent and certainly contenders for my list this year, and I'd expect others will agree.
New M!ndgames is solid too, their first in 9 years, and I've been enjoying Lucifer and Kavus Torabi as well.
