    Molly Tuttle

Molly Tuttle is part of a New Generation of bluegrassy flatpickers like Billy Strings , with whom she played btw influenced by Tony Rice, Doc Watson etc. she values the traditional playing all while adding some new features and songwriting....
    Her clawhammer tutorials are stunning...

She - & her band(s) - are really fantastic live; her playing, in particular, is quite stunning. Sadly, I don't think her studio releases have ever successfully captured the brilliance of her live performances - I find them over-produced, but also "smoothed out", as if they're being marketed for "mainstream" (UK Radio 2 style) audiences.

Fantastic talent. I recommend seeing her live, if you can.
