    "Regular" is maybe a stretch as it's a fairly slow-burn gothic kind of piece overall, (rather than template symphonic prog), but the intentionally jarring trumpet solo in After Crying's "A Gadarai Megszállott" immediately sprang to mind for me:



    It starts to tee things up at around the 16 minute mark, then goes full pell mell at minute 17.
