    Adrian Belew’s e for Orchestra

    I found this highly enjoyable
Its rare when a group and orchestra are able gel in a convincing way
And it shows - there is genuine joy here
Reminds me a bit of Zappa's ״corrective experience״ Yellow Shark - After multiple attempts in collaborating with classical. musicans who were hostile or at least indiffrent here we see a young conductor and Orchestra who are ethusiastic and devoted to the preformance
I wish I see the entire concert ( which was released on DVD )

Quite surprised how much I liked that!
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.

The original e has both Slicks.

I prefer the regular E, but the orchestral one is a nice complimentary piece.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.

There's a few Belew releases I still need. This is one of them. Why is Belew's stuff so hard to acquire?
I mean, when I order the DVD from his website, it will cost me €55. These days that's just silly. Make it a blu ray and include both the studio and the live CD then €55 is fine with me

"Very, very nice," said a man in the crowd,
    When the golden voice appeared.
She was gold alright, but then so is rust.
"Such a shame about the beard."
