    R.I.P. Sony 5-disc CD player

After many years of faithful service, you serve no more.

Recommendations for a good replacement under $300? Carousel vs. single disc? I see an Onyko 6 disc player for $299 but it looks BIG.

If you're willing to consider a refurb, there's a Sony 200-disc machine available for $250.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.

Does Bose Wave still make a three disc changer?

I had one of those. Loved it! I almost never listen to CDs anymore (mine are all ripped), so I don't really miss it. Good luck with finding a replacement!

We still use the Sony 5-disc. Hasn't been heavily used over the years but still in service a couple times a week. Always liked that it plays SACD though not DVD-A. But it's used only in a stereo system now. No idea what available today.
