Aphrodite's Child "666" Super Deluxe Edition coming

I've always heard that the 1974 Greek mix was really good and quite different. I'll have to wait to see if reverb was added like the "Delectus" box. I heard that it was overdone...

What, no 39 minute of infinity? How disappointing! (apparently the original recording of the song was 39 minutes which they reduced to 5 for the record)

I'll have to see/hear what this entails before committing. I do love the album though.

is a vinyl edition planned? feel like this is one of the few big-name prog albums to never get a reissue. every copy I see looks like they slapped a $75 sticker on it and ran it through a wood chipper

I think this will be a fine opportunity to throw my beloved sahlep-soaked coins to a vendor like Wayside, should they carry it
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Auto buy. Fortunately, it is very reasonably priced, please shop around and avoid Amazon$$.

Mastered by Vangelis himself, which if true, is good, I like what he did with the 2017 Vangelis remastered series, though I'll be an SOB for missing out ont he Delectus box set.

I finally bought this classic album on cd maybe a year ago or so. I'm not going to buy it again but I think it comes pretty close to being one of those albums that pretty much every prog fan should have in their collection.

Steve Wilson discusses 666 at length in this feature, with a lot of love. I never knew this album was about a traveling circus that performs the Book of Revelations. That makes sense as they often introduce songs "This is The Battle of The Locust!" and you often hear crowds cheering. So cool, I love this album.

It’s available at Import CD …..$101.00. That’s about $25.00 cheaper than Amazon.
