There is a 5th new studio track if you get it from Target.

Their only album I know in its entirety is Elemental; it has interesting sounds and songs. After a long dreary minute-and-a-half at the beginning incl multiple segments of several-seconds of cringey high timbre-gone-bad vocals, which reminds of some really boring moments from this-century moody-Hogarthy Marillion, that song Astronaut above, which I just heard now, starts sounding like that Elemental era of TFF sound but probably a below average song compared to that album. All IMO. I hope this is not taken to be a negative post as it intends to mainly point to Elemental as a fun and interesting album, though it's been probably decades since I last heard it. Cheers.

I saw these guys at Bethel Woods in summer 2023....best show all year for me. They blew me away, and I wasn't expecting it.

If you only know Elemental you need to check out the excellent The Hurting, and especially Songs From The Big Chair, which is absolutely fantastic (and yes, you are allowed to skip Everybody Wants To Rule The World, which l personally never need to hear again).

My go-to TFF album is Everybody Loves A Happy Ending. A banger from start to finish!

We saw the Tipping Point live film last week. Definitely worth the watch for fans of the band. I do love that album, and they did it justice live too. After the credits rolled they played 4 songs which I suppose were the ones that will be offered on the EP and live album as extras. IMO they were not up to the bands standard and didn't make me want to buy the new live album when it comes out.

They performed those 4 tracks for the first time at their concert in Las Vegas last night. Some longtime fans seem to be ecstatic over the 5 new studio tracks.

We're driving up to Vegas (from Phoenix) tomorrow for some family stuff, but going to see TFF tomorrow night. Looking forward to the show!

This show was simply fantastic. The setlist is largely consists of the Nervous Planet tracks, both the new studio tracks and the live tracks. The stage show, lighting, and video tech were all amazing. And the band was great - it sounded like a band truly at its peak live. And the theater, BleauLive is at the new hotel/casino Fontainebleau, and is a wonderful venue.

They've been so successful that they've added four additional dates in Jan & Feb.

Edit - sorry my pictures are so large. Not sure how to correct that.

Is a Blu-ray video disc going to be released? I see the audio BR is an exclusive website offer but have not seen the video of the film announced. I missed the screening unfortunately.

I guess it will take a while before this film will be released on Blu-Ray video (and/or DVD) since it's still being shown in theatres worldwide.

Hey Frank. Back in July 2023, my brother and his wife and I went to see them at the First Bank Amphitheater in Franklin, TN -- which turned out to be the place where they filmed and recorded for Songs For a Nervous Planet!

They blew me away as well. I'm super familiar with their music, and I don't think I heard a single mistake all night. Roland and Curt are consummate professionals, and the band they had with them were pros too. The rendition of "Bad Man's Song" that they did was jaw-dropping, IMO. It might be my favorite version now.

When the concert film came to theaters, the three of us went to see it along with my parents. It's really a wonderful film, and I hope they release it on Blu-Ray eventually.

I'm so glad you got to see them on that same tour that we did, and that you enjoyed it so much. Never realized you were a fan.

So funny when Roland Orzabal said onstage at the Hollywood bowl that after 40 years of performing, this year was the FIRST time Tears For Fears has ever played there. Incredible. On the other hand, I saw the John Williams documentary on Disney+ who has played there about 30 times and counting. I am jealous of those who live in the LA area and get to see these amazing shows.
