YouTube will actually insert labelled chapter breaks automatically. Sometimes there are a few bugs in the system, though. I happened to be checking one of my own past videos (which are very boring and no one here should look at them) today, and discovered that one of the chapters was labelled "Clous Schulze" and the segment where I was talking about Vangelis was labelled "Van Halen."

Oh, and the autocorrect on my computer just changed "Vangelis" to "Tangelos."

Reaction videos are cancer and I wish Youtube would stop recommending them to me. It's even worse when the thumbnail has someone making a ridiculous face that Ben Turpin would find undignified. Ugh!
Only on PE would someone name-check Ben Turpin. I got it ☺

They're working on it. I think the working title is Dominion.

it's also really bad for your algorithm to allow them to do this, apparently. I've started placing my edits in iMovie at the chapter breaks before uploading, then I just copy them over to the video description. I'm a big fan of chapter breaks, and apparently naming them correctly helps viewers find your videos.

Edwards is ok. I watch him every so often but he posts so often it tends to clog my recommendations. Glad he's successful at what he does.

Looks like tomorrow Mr. Edwards will be premiering a show devoted to Mahavishnu bootlegs. That is a topic I will gladly listen to for 50 minutes!

NP: MO live at Kulturhuset Stockholm Feb 9, 1975. Ponty still in the band. Amazing stuff...

I hate those misleading titles of YouTubers who want to have a view. How can bands ruin music? As far as I know, we have complete freedom of what we want to listen to in music and I don't care if millions of bands are popular and don't listen anyway. There is music, and there is my music because music is not what others listen to but what I care to listen to.

I just got the live boot from Berkely, Nov. 9, 1972 and is is just killer intense! And well recorded, too.

Interesting. I have a couple of those boots on my list at Amazon.

Or person, anyway! That is a majorly obscure reference.

I'm pretty sure I previously used Ben Turpin for my avatar. I tend to change it often. In fact, I'm almost overdue.

A record store l went to in the mid-70s had Van Halen stocked in the "H" section. When l pointed it out to the owner he said he thought it was one guy, like Van Morrison.

Where does he stock Van Beethoven?

Hopefully not. That would conflict with Zopp's second album.

Probably where it should be, under B.

As long as they have a cover of the Sisters song, I won't care.

I skipped ahead a bit but I did watch most of the video that prompted this thread. They guy is certainly opinionated based on his own personal tastes. However, there was one thing that I did agree with to some degree; the penchant for a lot of critics to become bedazzled by celebrity or celebrity adjacent concepts of what's cool/hip/etc. For my part, it's critics who desire to live on the good side of the velvet rope because the drinks are better and the chance of getting laid is increased.
