Interesting quotes from Annie & John Galgano!
Sleeping at home is killing the hotel business!
Sorry she's retiring, but till 77 is a good long time to work...
Impera littera designata delenda est.
Nice to read that she visited with Terry Sullivan recently. When Annie announced the final tour on Facebook, there were many folks saying "What about Sullivan and Camp"? It seemed those comments were getting deleted as fast as folks could post them. I think its a fair question, considering the "finale" part of this tour. I was curious if there was at least a discussion or offer to have them included. Maybe those guys dont have any interest, but it would have been cool to try and get them together one last time.
I'll be at the final show in Edwardsville. Heartbreaking for me, the last chance to hear Renaissance music live. I think Jon Galgano is a terrific addition and the best replacement they will ever have for Jon Camp. Which has always been my biggest complaint about the American Renaissance.
Regarding Camp & Sullivan, I don't think those guys are in any position to tour. Camp in particular seems like he still has alcohol problems, and was somewhat homeless this past year asking for a place he could stay. He continually goes on about his girlfriend leaving him and coming back to him. Sullivan seems very much retired and maybe doesn't play anymore. Not sure. Annie wants pro's that come in, learn the parts, and do the job to the fullest. That makes her life less stressful. But yea, I would go nuts to see either one of them pop in the last show. I just don't think it will happen.

I heard Annie a couple of nights/mornings ago on the radio program Coast to Coast AM. I was very surprised because that show is mostly about UFOs, alien abductions and the like. But she talked all about the upcoming farewell tour and quite a lot about the history of Renaissance. It was a delight.
