    Big Echolyn albums update

The band posted a video today with a big update presented by Brett, Chris, Ray and Jordan in a 7 minute 33 second video.

Two (yes, two) new albums are coming out, each totaling approximately 45 minutes.

    TimeSilentRadio vii
    1. Radio Waves (7:19)
    2. Silent Years (4:21)
    3. Cul-de-Sacs and Tunnels (7:09)
    4. Boulders on Hills (6:53)
    5. Our Brilliant Next (5:47)
    6. On We Blur (5:41)
    7. Tiny Star (8:29)

    TimeSilentRadio II
    1. Time Has No Place (16:27)
    2. Water in Our Hands (28:51)

Glenn Rosenstein (producer of "as the world") returned to mix and master the albums.
"Tiny Star" will be the first single from the album (Available December 25, 2024)

There is a Kickstarter campaign for the release:

    Tier 1 ($30)
    • Digital downloads of both albums (Available January 1, 2025)

    Tier 2 ($60)
    • Digital downloads of both albums (Available January 1, 2025)
    • Signed CD copies of both albums (Available March 7, 2025)
    • US shipping included

All Kickstarter contributors will get access to exclusive videos, information and chats leading up to the album.

Note that the CD release will be exactly 30 years to the day of the release of "as the world."

    $45,000?

I wish them well and will happily preorder the digitals...but they might want/need to add a few premium support tiers to hit that mark.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Most welcome news. I've never contributed to any crowd funding campaign before, but I'm tempted this time, because March 7th is a looonnngggg ways away. January 1st, seems and is much closer.

Very exciting news - Just put my pledge in at Tier 2 - as much as their music has meant to me over the years it's an easy decision. So looking forward to this!

Yeah I'd have happily done a $100 dollar tier for an extra T-Shirt or something!

    Needless to say I'm excited!
One thing that is still unclear at this point is whether the CDs will be widely distributed worldwide after this Kickstarter campaign. In the video, Chris seems to suggest it might not be the case.
I'm still hesitating between Tier 1 or 2: I'll probably go for Tier 2 to support the band but I absolutely hate how bands sign CDs all over the artwork!
I'd actually like to know if I'll be able to buy a second pristine copy later, as I did for I Heard You Listening.

I'm certain you could request your copies to not be signed.

I could, but the only time I tried this, it came signed anyway. I can understand it's a hassle for them to make an exception when they're signing hundreds of them.

I have a signed copy of "I Heard You Listening" and they signed the back of the CD gatefold/digipak. I have no idea if that's the norm for them or not.

148 now so that's promising growth. It is an all-or-nothing kickstarter so I really hope they make it.
