First Listen: Owner of a Lonely Heart

I'm not a huge fan of "first listen" videos, but I like this channel and thought she had some interesting things to say about the song:

I have watched a few of her videos and enjoyed them.

Can someone post the YT link to that bad overdub of OoaLH with the chintzy keys and bad childlike JA vox? I have been looking for it but cannot locate...

It was on another thread here long ago...... Search didn't turn it up either

She did one on a KC tune... Larks I? Anyway - she was playing like 1-2 seconds of the song or maybe something that long... and it was without knowing the song totally worthless to watch. Maybe she's playing more of the songs now? Havent watched in a while.

    Do you mean this one?

If you search for a song together with the keyword "shred", you usually can find these versions.

At least these are better than the ones where it's someone wearing a turban listening to Led Zeppelin for the first time. I find those completely distasteful.

I like that version. Tony Kaye's contributions are brilliant - boldly disruptive but always tasteful. The Squire/White rythm section is great as usual, with White tending towards a more Brufordish style, and cleverly playing around with the beat. Rabin goes for a more acoustic approach, in a provocative nod to the Howe era. Jon is Jon, always thinking and singing outside the box - and what a hairdo.

Hey, she also did Jinjer's Pisces. A nice analysis.

I'm not lazy. I just work so fast I'm always done.
