Does Pete Jones Ever Sing Happy Songs?

I'm listening to the new Lee Abraham album, Origin of the Storm, and I'm already depressed.

Admittedly, it's Lee Abraham so I'm not going to hear happy ditties. But it just put me to mind of the fact that every time I hear Pete Jones sing, it's melancholy.

I could see your point, but I was really happy when he played with Camel. Really enjoyed some Tiger Moth Tales

^^ This is the bonustrack from the rerelease of the first Tiger Moth Tales-album. Quite a melancholic autobiographic song about his career.

There are quite a few happy songs on his most recent TmT album and this is quite fun too.

That may be a generalization from some of the songs he chooses or is asked to sing. On his podcast on progzilla, (he has over 200 of them) he is a very easy going funny positive guy. His podcast is also broadcast on The House of prog.

His pay-what-you-want downloads where he explains all the tracks on each album are pretty jolly, and good listens if you’re interested.

This is one of my faves from him, and it’s upbeat and happy imho.
