Matthews' nephew released some albums too. And this last in date album is an excellent one.
According to PA's review, David Byrne is a voice influence. David Bowie's voice from the 70s also is also an obvious similar tone.
#1 Please Don't Hurt Us is a real short obscure intro different from the all tracks. The rest of the album are pure must have tracks here again.
Funny things about eponym track is lyrics are limited on the very title track, and all of these beautiful themes around them. An imprescindible hit is the following and so enjoyable #8 For All Tomorrows one. The mellotronic ending track #10 Up Above is a pretty los-endos-like one.
    So nice. Too short.

I saw him open for Discipline once and really enjoyed his show. He was just solo on piano, but obviously quite talented.

Ryan also had his own band Eyestrings in the early 00s (?). They released at least one CD. I only heard it once at a friend's...l remember it sounding kind of Discipline.-y.
I go, and come back, like memories and symptoms.
I go, and come back, forever, evermore.
Part of me remains abandoned in a circle.
    Part of me moves on.

Yes, I forgot all about Eyestrings. I should pull that out for a listen. It has been years.
