    More.....BRUTUS!

I believe they are from Norway. Amazing how Scandinavia bands nail the retro, early 70s sound. You'd swear this band was from 1971. Very Sabbathian and bluesy.

Doesn't Norway's government provide a vintage guitar or organ, and an amp, to every citizen when they turn 13? Seems like it!

It's not metal but very heavy, guitar Prog. We have Keith Relf and Bobby Caldwell in this band...Armageddon. there is a strong Captain Beyond vibe. I freaking love it.

My favorite tune off of this obscure classic...nice! The whole album is killer. Buzzard, Silver Tightrope, Last Stand Before...just awesome stuff

Warning! Spotify notified me today about a new song by Elder, but it's a DIFFERENT Elder!! The song is called "Thank You." I figured it was a thank you to the fans or something, but it turns out it's a thank you to God. Yep, it's an entirely different Elder, and this is their only song on Spotify!

I assume these things happen (they happen a lot) because Spotify doesn't pay employees enough, in addition to artists.

The organizers stated they were going on hiatus after the 2022 edition of Maryland Death Fest to think about the future of the festivals. I think the whole thing with having to cancel twice plus that they have been doing the MDF edition for 20 years as well as the others-Netherlands Deathfest, UK Deathfest (both are the others running this time out), California Deathfest, Quebec Deathfest, Scandinavian Deathfest and the defunct Days of Darkness (not sure which of the other three were still ongoing). I think they just want to see if they still want to do this after the hiatus.

I hope someone steps in to fill the void. We had a version of out here, Bay Area Deathfest, but I'm not sure if it is in the same family.

I'm not completely convinced that this ISN'T a move to try and boost attendance this year, giving people the sense that it's going away so go now or regret forever

And The Ocean absolutely SLAYED in concert a few weeks ago.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

An excellent album that never got the recognition it deserved. The debut from Moxy is another one.
