I was just talking about them earlier tonight on a Rush livestream. They were the first band I ever saw live, since they were the opening band on the Presto tour when I was 17.

Not a very metallic fellow but I've stumbled on something the algorhitm threw at me that caught my attention.
It had just 5 hours and following up the tube channel I found it is all less than a month old.
I'm listening to the album and actually parts sound metal and parts sound somewhat prog...
And there's humour here, I mean "Nuts Desanctified"...
So, here's the youtube channel of Squirrel Desecrator:

We had Mr Big in Rochester....not that far from Toronto but is it possible that Voivid only did Canada?

I think The Wake is my favorite of theirs. Great stuff.

I believe they did only the Canadian dates, yes. I know they did Montreal. Speaking of Mr. Big, I got a chuckle out of an interview Paul Gilbert did where he talked about the Mr. Big camp deciding that on the final show of the Rush tour, they were planning on coming on stage for a surprise encore so they could all play together. Paul said 'I don't know guys, Rush doesn't strike me as the kind of band who like to be surprised...'

Dream Death - Journey Into Mystery

Nice revisit of a seminal record for the "other" metal scene.

They missed Metallus. To me the best traditional doom album of the year.

^^ definitely - but I have preferred Dickinson solo since Fear of the Dark was released....

For those who may not own it and generally like Bruce- I fucking highly recommend "Scream for me Brazil" - which is a crushing set of Accident of Birth & Chemical Wedding tunes in front of an amped up Brazilian crowd.

    No Maiden tunes

Somewhat - crowd is not in control of the mix though.

Now to be fair - the show itself did include 3 Maiden tunes not on the release - also making the album awesome is Adrian Smith and Roy Z on guitars

Just picked up tix for me and the Mrs. to see Extreme (w/Living Color opening)

The bands are playing here at the local performing arts center in NNJ.

Totally stoked as I really enjoy Extreme's new disc.

I wish this tour was coming closer to me. I have seen both bands live and they are both fantastic.

This will be my 2nd time seeing Extreme but first in 30+ years.

It's my fourth time seeing Living Color.
