    That is good news!

I just realized, I would LOVE for one of the several people posting Prog-related interviews on YouTube to interview Dr. Mauro Moroni. Just ask him for his ten favorite Italian Prog albums or something. I want to SEE and HEAR him - I've always been curious to know a little about him, seeing as he used to occasionally lock horns with people on r.m.p back in the day (me included, once or twice). Probably someone on this thread has met him at a concert or festival?

Thanks for the update. I'm in on the Aliante on CD. Spinning their first album now.

Check his ratings on RYM: https://rateyourmusic.com/~Faraone

He has rated 124 5-star albums. Quite a few Italians amongst them.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I'm not really so much looking for this info as I'd just like to see some footage of him and hear what he sounds like. Get an image to go along with the name. He's been on the Prog "scene" for quite a while I think.

I'm always on the lookout for stuff that sounds similar to early Genesis, Anthony Phillips or even early PFM. That Gazzara seems to hit the spot for me but too bad I couldn't find it anywhere other than here. Any info on an official release would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is the Bandcamp release not official?

    What info do you need?

Thanks. Aith mentioned bandcamp. For some reason I never seem to think of bandcamp right away. I was thinking more along the lines of synphonic, laser's edge or even amazon. It doesn't really matter much to me though but I prefer to have a physical copy (cd).

Bandcamp is still kind of new to me so I'm not used to thinking of it. I guess I'm old school.

    I understand.

The Bandcamp page has a physical CD for sale too, if you’re looking for one.

The Sundering is not new (they have released an album in 2018, which is also available on Bandcamp), but their latest EP is and it's worth listening to. Really too bad it is so short.

Nice, but what I really want is the new Unreal City! They were making so much progress on it and now it seems to have stalled.

Almost everything I'm waiting for seems to be stuck or died on the way. Seems to be hard times for Prog bands in Italy currently.

^^^ I ordered that Chandoo Priest CD just now from Bandcamp. Should take a while from Milan to Toronto, so I'm enjoying the mp3s in the meantime!

^ I really like that. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be on Bandcamp.

Found it while looking for something else, I'm still searching for more info about them (seems to be a duo)

P.S. It pays of to be connected, the project is really called "MeM" and is a guy called Antongiulio Moneta and his son.

I could provide a telephone number to order the stuff (don't know in which form)

On their YT channel there are a lot more tracks, all of them quite good. Hopefully, this will result in a properly released album:
