No - the Ft.Collins trolley is similar, but not the same one. (These are not my pictures - just an interesting comparison of these suburban trolleys) :

i took that at the trolley museum in E Windsor CT. they offer rides that circle the museum on existing train tracks. that picture captures one of those rides as it was just leaving the 'station'.

nope.. Wickham in Manchester. best park i've seen so far. been to it like 8 times now and always find something new..

edit: from what i'm reading about Forest Park (Springfield i assume), that is definitely a place i'd like to check out. looks very similar to Wickham as far as the sights/activities..

i know this looks like a typical night shot with a crescent moon but it's not (don't think i've ever seen an upside down crescent). taken here in CT 7 mins before 'total partiality' if that makes sense..

I no longer have good equipment. I've been promising myself some serious upgrades for a long time - but something always seems to have a higher demand for my meager $$.

So all I could do was take a pseudo DSLR, mount it on a tripod, zoom in on the sun, and hold 2 pairs of polaroid sunglasses at right-angles to one another ... all very 'Rube Goldberg', and this was the best I could get:

i'd like to see that but it looks like you're the latest victim of Photobucket's new 'pay to link images' policy.. i'd dump them and move to Flickr.

    Oh FFS!

I'll set up Flickr. Meantime, here's the image - if you click the icon below, it will show full size.

not bad considering your setup. not totally unsalvagable though in photoshop or lightroom.

Cameras are only tools. I captured and sold dozens of quality shots (and do to this day) - on a circa 2004 5MP Leica D2. It still surprises me with it's image output !!!

That said - a modern camera and software can bring so many things to the table - but Yves is right: an image "speaks" to you, and that emotion can be leveraged with just about anything given the right conditions.

I love this picture. As someone who lives on the other side of the world, and couldn't "space out" (budum tss), and watch this I love seeing these pictures. Especially as I am quite a space obsessed person.

thx.. but it could have been a lot better if i had the right lens. if you bring it up in Flickr, you'll notice i used a 70-300 telephoto maxed out at 300 and even then i had to crop the thing just to get a semi-decent look at the flower. may have to start thinking about getting a 200-500 or something close to it.

It was so cool the first time I went there (Stonehenge) in the '70s. You could walk among the plinths. touch them, and really get the feel of the place.

A small group of modern-day "druids" were conducting a wedding just off to the side. I took a picture - it was on slide film, and I think I've scanned it. Will post if I can find it.
    Regards,
