He might if he finds out that Lydia sent Todd and crew into Holly's bedroom.

So it begins....the end.
I'm watching the Patriots-Falcons game & dvr'ing Breaking Bad, Talking Bad & the new HBO Masters & Johnson series. I definitely need to medicate heavily before diving into that shit!

Finale was great. Everything pretty much wrapped up nicely. Once again the use of music was brilliant. Marty Robin’s “El Paso”, “Lydia The Tattooed Lady”, and the Badfinger tune at the end, all just perfect. I still rank “Six Feet Under” as the best finale ever, but this one was right up there.

Very nice. Maybe a tad less epic than I had hoped but maybe it never could have lived up to what I had built up in my mind. It did wind of making Walt sympathetic again, which was not necessarily where I expected Vince Gilligan to go. And even though I don't imagine it would ever happen, the door is open for the Blue to appear again...
I'm satisfied. The Walt/Jessie relationship over 5 seasons was perhaps the most enigmatic in the history of series tv.

That was a great last episode and pretty much everyone who NEEDED to die, did so...!
Yeah, I was satisfied. I think I enjoy this type ending over the way The Sopranos ended, not that I have to have it neatly tied up.
A great finish, I even like the way it leaves Jessie - They could almost do a "fugitive" type breakoff (yeah, like that's gonna happen). Anyway, I loved how he got revenge on Gray Matter. - Can you imagine how those two are going to have to "security up"? I'm still laughing at the Badger and Skinny Pete angle - Brilliant!
I'm truly going to miss these characters. I could really have used another 2 or 3 seasons. But I guess that's what you do - Hit that high note and just walk away.
I saw that Aaron Paul is doing some kind of tough guy "fast and furious movie" - Not the best career choice IMO. But you have to strike while its hot. I like him a lot better as the whimpy smart ass. I hope they paid him a buttload of money for that movie. I don't think I'm even going to see it. He's a great actor, but stepping into a Nicholas Cage role... Lets face it, Aarons agent is no Saul Goodman.
I got nothin' :
...avoiding any implication that I have ever entertained a cognizant thought.

I was a little surprised by the Need For Speed thing too. If I were him I'd figure I was never going to get a role as artistically rewarding as that again and go for pure entertainment. Make a fun movie. But he's a big boy- either this movie might be better than we think or he figured it was time for a paycheck.
He was also in Big Love, playing a completely different type of character (obviously). He's a good actor with a bright future now, thanks to BB. Hopefully he doesn't get typecast.

Well I am well pleased. Bravo!
I think one of the toughest nuts to crack is a satisfying end to a great TV series. Sure, it has been done before, Six Feet Under and The Wire come to mind. But trying to live up to excellence in a series is usually not a winner.
"Felina" is one of the winners.
All the foreshadowing? Paid off. Machine gun for the Nazi's? (check) Ricin for Lydia? (check) Gray Matter circle closed? (check) Appropriate thematic music selection? (check not once but twice)
Walt admitting he did it all for himself and not his family? (awesome)
Loved Badger and Skinny Pete! Walt's end amid his precious blue chemistry? (awesomely fitting)
Going to miss BrBa immensely and I really doubt anything will come along soon to top it....

I liked the finale, however felt there were more powerful episodes during the final run. I'm surprised Walt had such animosity toward Lydia, but guess I read that wrong - maybe he knew all along that she tried to wipe the slate clean early on.
The Gray Matter angle was very clever and unexpected, loved the line about the size of the knife.
Having Jesse off Todd was poetic justice at it's best.
Looking forward to Gilligan's next project.
Duncan's going to make a Horns Emoticon!!!
I know El Paso was a cover by the Grateful Dead and Bob Weir, but I do like that version better then the original. Not that their version fit BrBa better than the original did, Gilligan picked the right one.
"Felina" is an anagram of "Finale". It is also Fe "Iron", Li "Lithium", Na "Sodium" .That Blood/Meth/Tears explanation is awesome and typical Vince, many many layers in there.
I also found the added scene of Walt in his wreck of a house reflecting back on Hank's offer of a ride along on the meth bust very compelling. My, my, a lot happened between Mr. Chip's 50th birthday and Heisenberg's 52nd.

There are some other really great dramas on TV right now that I hold at a similar level. “Man Men” will have its send off next season. “Boardwalk Empire” continues the string of great stuff from HBO, as does “Game Of Thrones”. “Homeland” on Showtime is top notch (unfortunately I don’t get Showtime so have only seen DVD’s), and “American Horror Story” starts a new run in a few weeks. All of these are at least close to Breaking Bad level to me.

His next project is compelling to me as it is going to be set in Battle Creek Michigan which is about a half hour from where I live and I have spent plenty of time there over the years. The series supposedly deals with the “mean streets” of Battle Creek, which is kind of……well, Battle Creek is a very small city so I guess I have never thought of it in terms of a crime Mecca, although it does have its share of trouble for its size I guess. Of course that and plenty of breakfast cereal. Anyway, they are supposed to do at least some filming in the actual city, so there is a pretty big buzz around it here in Southwest Michigan at the moment.
Steve Sly
Do you think each episode will have its own resolution, or will it be written in the cereal format?

Why was Jimmy Kimmel on Talking Bad? He was totally a fifth wheel!
