    Upcoming Concerts

Hey - I could not find if this thread was continued over here from the old site so I thought I would start it up again. I have been busy buying tickets for the new year mostly for my boy as XMAS gifts. Here is what I have lined up so far.

Megadeth - AC House of Blues this past Friday 11/16/12
Rik Emmett Duo - New Hope Winery 1/16/12
Green Day - Liacouras Center 1/22/12 (though is postponed due to band issues and waiting for a re-schedule date)
Carmine & Vinnie Appice Drum Wars - Sellersville 2/7/12
Zappa Plays Zappa - Harrah's Casion Atlantic City 2/8/12
Uli Roth & Uli Roth Sky Academy - Sellersville 2/13/12

Not give up but not firm enough to commit, I wish to god they'd announce a few more bands.

    Seaprog- Seattle 6/28-30

    Roger Hodgson- North Bend 8/12
    Billy Cobham- Seattle 9/25
    Ian Anderson- Tacoma 10/27

I saw Claudia Quintet in Brooklyn last Thursday. Unfortunately, it appeared as if only about 30 other people could say the same!

The only other concert I have on my horizon right now is the Bob Dylan/Wilco/My Morning Jacket

for June and July, Vancouver area
David Gogo- Jun 22- blues rock- he does originals as well as interpretive covers of Procol Harem, Doors, Faces, Depeche Mode and the regular blues guys- many Canadian blues/roots awards
Scofield Uberjam -Jun 25- part of Jazzfest
Bed of Stars /JP Maurice / Tough Lovers- Jun 28- young rock bands, particularly interested in seeing what BoS will be like as I saw him/them two years ago and the guy caught my attention as having his own musical vision and learning to express it
Sloan / Belle Game / Good For Grapes- July 1- free outdoor event + other acts - new acts and the 20 year Sloan
We Are The City + supports- jULY 4- young band blending prog and pop, drummer is good
Nazareth - Jul 8- might go to it
    Albert Lee - Jul 10-
July 13 street festival with 20 acts - fantastic months long radio station contest for the acts where they get to play some shows, go to a weeklong bootcamp with seminars on songwriting, production, business planning, peer revues of performances etc, and in the end, winner gets $102,000. This is where i've found some of the acts that I now buy tickets to
Danny Michel- three chances to see him in a week, I'll make one of them, he's been compared to Paul Simon
Rush- Jun 26- 35 years since I last saw them
    looking for more
