Robin Trower is coming to Royal Oak, MI on May 7. Another performer I want to see before it's too late.

I saw Iron Butterfly last night for the very first time. They were on my bucket list. I thoroughly enjoyed them. That was quite a ride! I understand that there are no totally original members but some have been with the band for a very long time. I think that the lead guitarist said that 3 of the original members have passed away. Still, a really good show.
Todd Saturday night right here in town at the Calvin. Next Friday night Security Project right here in town at the Academy of Music. Have I mentioned how great a place Northampton is to live if you dig music?
I bought tix for Marillion yesterday - show is almost a year away, however. And hoping to get Springsteen tickets tomorrow for his show in February. GF is a HUGE fan.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

With the Wilson show at the Beacon on 3/5/16 now a wonderful memory, setting my sights on Spring.
So far, here's what's on the schedule:
Steve Hackett-Place des Arts, Montreal, April 9. This is the beautiful theater in which we saw the first "Revisited" tour in '13 iirc; we saw the show the following year in Lynn MA and although the show itself was great, the beautiful theater in Montreal adds to the experience. (We saw last year's show in Albany at the wonderful Egg, but the Egg is no Theatre Maisonneuve).
Anderson Ponty Band-Calvin Theater, Northampton, May 21. I had been google-mapping the distance to shows in New York and had given up plans to attend when this date was announced here in my town! Got in via pre-sale, looking forward to seeing Jon whom I've not seen since the Anderson/Wakeman show in Worcester at the Hanover (another beautiful theater!) some years back (Ponty I saw with RTF not too many years back...)
Plus Stick Men and Project Object at the Iron Horse here in town in April. Shaping up to be a good spring...now if Electric Strawbs would book a local date (I'm not around for the Mohegan Sun show), I'd be a very happy man.
I was going to see Hiromi in Boston but I'll be traveling back from Big Ears, added God Is An Astronaut

"Seek and ye shall receive..."
Electric Strawbs, Iron Horse, Northampton MA (have I ever mentioned that's right here in my town?) 5/26/16! Nice intimate setting where I've seen Acoustic Strawbs several times...psyched to see Iona guitarist Dave bainbridge on keys!
