Except Morgan Agren, although he did play on Zappa's Universe.

Morgan played with Frank as a guest and was invited to join the NEXT edition of Zappa's touring band, but Frank got too sick to see it through and never did have a next edition of the touring band.

    Close enough.

Mike Miller and Tom Fowler toured with The Grandmothers Of Invention last year, who were great.
They were excellent this year as well. I'd love to see Banned tour here in the US.

Sounds like a show I'd go to. But I doubt they're coming to Charlotte.

^Scott Thunes, Bobby Martin and Ray White are the FZ alum. I didn’t recognize any of the other musicians, and their names escape me, but the lead guitarist (or, at least, the guy who played most of the leads) was pretty damn good.

We saw them in CLT a few weeks ago. The School of Rock kids opened and joined in for a few numbers with BFU.

Overall, an ok show. A second keyboard player would’ve helped round out the sound.

Robbie Seahag Mangano was formerly the guitar hotshot with Project Object. I thought I saw some info somewhere that Andre Cholmondeley, leader/founder of Project Object is involved with Banned From Utopia, but not as a player. He's been doing a lot of guitar tech for folks like David Torn, Brand X, Belew and others in recent years, and I seem to recall that booking/management inquiries about BFU go to his e-mail.

There are two shows on Dime, one sounds okay and the other is a soundboard.

Andre was the guitar tech for Pat Metheny's solo tour that I saw last fall. I don't remember hearing about him being involved with BFU but it could be.

The Zappa Band that opened for King Crimson in 2021 had a similar lineup to this BFU lineup (Mike Keneally and Joe Travers rather than Seahag and Taylor). Kime was good on guitar in that show.
