BTW, I believe Fish's old site is still live, it's just the shop will always bring you to the new site's shop. He has big plans for the new site, including adding as much background and archival info to the entries for each album. We'll see how much time he really ends up having for it, but for now it certainly looks good, and the shop worked fine for me.

Thanks. Am I missing something on the site, or are you pulling that track list from elsewhere?

I looked at my copy and it has the same information on the discogs website. So that is where I got that cut and paste. The Fish website just doesn't list CD number three or four for some dumb reason, hopefully they will update that information

Discs 3 and 4 were from the 29 October 2015 show in Posthalle. Shorter CD times on 3 and 4 too.

The first two tracks on 3 are the same as 1, then we have Macnchmal, Arc Of The Curve, High Wood Crucifix Corner, The Gathering, Thistle Alley and The Leaving. Disc 4 is Slainthe, Vigil, Big Wedge (love those two back to back!), Heart of Lothian, Incubus and The Company.

This might be may be my favorite Fish live release ever. No his voice isn't what it once was but the material has been as strong as it's ever been and he still brings it despite a ton of obstacles, some of his own making.

Reissue update from Fish’s FaceBook page a few days ago:

This is Avril Mackintosh and Andy Bradfields studio where they're putting the finishing touches to the 'Vigils End' Dolby Atmos mix.

'13th Star' Dolby Atmos is wrapped and they are starting the 'Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirror's' Dolby Atmos mix in the autumn.

'Internal Exile' multitrack tapes are being baked and digitised next week and Calum Malcolm will be remixing the album sometime in the Summer. After that it's back to Avril and Andy to their studio for the special atmos treatment

'Vigil' and Exile' are in the release schedule for next May as we have to wait on the vinyl manufacture and the special deluxe versions

I might not be touring but there's a hell of a lot of work to sort out with reams of sleevenotes to write and photos to compile. The 2 albums next year I promise will be special :-)

The “Vigil” and “Internal Exile” deluxe reissues are finally coming out July 22, 2024!

    NA fans can order from:

    https://fishmusic.scot/

I have the bundle of both titles preordered. This is the time to support Fish, as after these releases they’re closing down the shop, so the upcoming tour and these releases will I thing be a big chunk on what he and his wife are probably retiring on! It would be amazing to be at the last Fish concert! Actually, he must be planning to release a recording from the final tour, maybe including the last show, you’d think, so they must somehow be selling one more release, but I’m sure that’d take a year or more to get out.

Anyway, dig deep to the bottom of the Fish tank if you want to give the scaled-one a final monetary Thank You!

Thank you Señor Orangutan for your public service. Both ordered.

I have lost somehow every copy I've ever owned of Vigil.... Both the OG CD I had bought in 1992 in London and the prior 2CD re-release.

So I have been waiting for this for awhile. Wish the OG mixes were included too.
Hope the remix is not awful....

The Deluxe versions are really the way to go on these, everything else has been fantastic in this format.

As a result of this thread, in addition to the Fish pre-order; I went and purchased the deluxe for Clutching and for AoS - and rec'd them today.

I am praying that I like the Clutching... mix; I had foolishly sold my OG Clutching disc before I had listened to the EMI remaster; which offended my ears immediately.

^ I’m listening to the remix now. It sounds good, and it’s a bit different. But I checked and the Blu-Ray contains the original 1987 mix of the album. It’s good that you got these editions, they’ll bring you years of enjoyment!

As long as it's not the atrocity that is Radiation, I will be okay.

    Thnx Jed as always.

    ^ ?? Well…it’s not!

Unrelated to the reissues, I just wanted to say I think the best Fish song is Brother 52. Such a cool song, with the excellent guitar and violin solos, and the very cool if controversial lyric. I love Fish’s voice and the voiceovers during the song. So cool and badass for a Prog song.

Have you given the 2013 remix release a listen? I think it's fantastic, particularly compared to the original release.

The atrocity IS the remix ;-)

I haven't listened to Radiation in a while but I remember thinking Under the Sun was a cool song. I need to relisten to the album.

    Preordered both, thanks!

As for the Radiation remix, it sounds like Marillion to me, and I love it, whereas the original versions sounds to me like some alt garage band and I never enjoyed it.

I was OK with the original, but the remix is a lot better. IMO

Same here - I never had a problem with the original near the level of Vapor Trails. It sounded good enough to me.

Seems there’s a slight delay on the new deluxe editions. Fish expects to have the CD versions on July 31st. Not really following the vinyl status, sorry…

They posted the Demo and Live disks for Vigil and Internal Exile on Spotify today though, so enjoy!

Yeah - got the same noticed yesterday. Hopefully this means the preorder I placed for both sets are about to ship!
