I love it, actually. They were a band I knew of and heard some of, but I never gave them proper time. However, I'm a big Chelsea Wolfe fan and knew that, at the very least, her involvement would be intriguing. I listened to one song on YouTube and immediately ordered the CD w/ holiday gift card money.
It's a deep, rich album with loads of variation and dynamics. Highly recommended.
For Christmas I received:
- Two Stephen King books (The Institute and Needful Things)
- The Elephant Man DVD (Criterion; I've never seen it, though I've seen the play)
- The Grateful Dead - In and Out of the Garden: Madison Square Garden '81, '82, '83 (Technically this 17CD set was a birthday present I bought myself back in October, but I'd never even opened the shipping carton yet, so I threw this under the tree. Looks very nice!

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

I'm one of the 212.
Hand-crocheted afghan and the 2-LP set of Sandy Denny and the Strawbs/All Our Own Work and assorted session numbers from she-who-must-be-obeyed.
Four Strawbs CDs from my daughter in England: Live in Concert (2 CDS and DVD), The Ferryman's Curse, Settlement, and the expanded edition of The Broken Hearted Bride.
A couple of books from daughter's hubby: Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft and The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie (I know nothing about them; anyone ever heard of these?)
A 6-pack of Breckenridge's Vanilla Porter from my son. Delish!
Assorted candy and lottery tickets (all lucky losers) in my stocking.

Looking forward to my day in court.
A bunch of cloths. My oldest son gave me a robe, some edibles, and pre-rolled joints.
