I blame Wynton, what was the question?

I like that Ut Gret has a bit of a tropical vibe to it which I'm liking. The Montagne does as well.

The new album by Disconnect, "Planned Obsolescence", is quite good. Unfortunately, there is nothing on youtube. Some samples from cd baby:

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
Tusmorke second album ”Riset Bak Speilet” out from Svart records.

The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off
You should hear the debut by Krokofant (on Rune) as well; I saw them open for Hedvid M. here in Oslo this spring and they were awesome. A sort of "brutal prog" affair (guitar-sax-drums) merging tight theme heads and wild improv.
The new Tusmørke is very good, and arguably a bit more refined and adventurous than their fine debut. And some Norwegian lyrics this time!
"Improvisation is not an excuse for musical laziness" - Fred Frith
"[...] things that we never dreamed of doing in Crimson or in any band that I've been in," - Tony Levin speaking of SGM

Give me that Kimbra stuff, over the new Yes stuff, any day, man......
