It seems that Ned Collette and Wirewalker have been around for some years, but are largely unknown outside Melbourne, though Ned Collette is developing a following in Berlin, where he has recently moved.

Check out a track called "Across the Frozen Bridge" if you can manage to locate it somewhere (Nudge, nudge).

2014 albums I’ve been digging: from Perfect Beings, Druckfarben and Agusa. I don’t know if the Perfect Beings has been mentioned yet in this thread, but the other two have. And from Italy: FEM Prog Band (shame about the name, though) and Ad Maiora.

Caught these guys in Palm Beach, FL last Saturday. Live they were 3 guitars, bass, drums and were joined by violin on one song. They are all instrumental. The CD came out in February, but I'll bet it's news to everyone here.

at first I though "no Keyboards?!" cause I'm a freak for great Keyboards and don't care for "Power Trios" much any more
but then I thought when I first pushed play... Djam Karet!
but these guys have their own sound different from the early Key-less DK

Fans of jazz sax/flute player Charles Lloyd will be interested in the release of a live 2-cd archival set from 1965 featuring Lloyd with Gabor Szabo-guitar,Ron Carter-bass and Pete LaRoca-drums.Recorded at Judson Hall and Slug's.To be released in early September on Resonance Records.

I know Tides of Man after them getting a bit of hype a few years ago. I recall their vocals resembling Circa Survive a little too much for me. They didn't get a new singer did they?

They are really called "Forza Elettro Motrice". There are some horrible girlie bands called FEM so they saw them forced
to make clear what they do They dropped the Prog Band part by now, as you can see on the artwork of the new Album.
