My first listen to the new album (the one in the link) was a little disappointing compared to how I felt about it based on the sample I heard. But I definitely need to get it more attention. The EP is only 28 minutes, but I liked this quite a bit on first listen. Here's the link to the EP on Bandcamp: https://ilrumorebianco.bandcamp.com/

Progression: Noxologic : Music From The Archives.

Second album from this Finnish band featuring Kimmo Pörsti, Harri Nikso and Jan-Olof Strandberg.
    Recorded in 2009 and 2010, with live-recordings from 2009 and 2012.
I hear some Mahavishnu, Jean-Luc Ponty and Tribute.

The new Dungen is pretty cool and somewhat different from the early albums of theirs that I own. No vocals and just a ton of mellotron.
Syd Arthur's new one is a winner as well, a band who's sound makes me feel good for some reason.
SBB's Hofors '75 beats them both though. Archival it may be but man it smokes.

Anyone else notice that Sea of Tranquility has Kansas' new one as their number one by combining their reviewers lists.

I assume alot of the material will come from the subscription service.

Sweet, been waiting on that. I dropped the subscription service, I liked the music a lot but getting a track every month just didn't feel like an album & I still need that feel.

I thought some of the musical ideas were nice enough, but the vocals are hard to take
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

I don't have a big problem with the vocals. My issue so far is almost exactly as you say, the music is "nice enough," but so far has failed to really capture my attention and hold it. I'm going to bring it with me the next time I drive to rehearsal so I can give it a closer listen, hopefully I'll hear some things that encourage me to keep this. But 3-4 spins in, it hasn't really done much for me yet.
