    RIP NEARfest Apocalypse Beer Glass

One of our kittens knocked it off the counter today and it exploded just like its namesake. Sniff - it was my favorite beer glass.

He's so damned cute though. It's like the third glass he's broken in as many weeks.

Lila broke our Apocalypse mug in the stainless steel sink a few months ago. Can't castrate her!

Not sure about cats, but I think male dogs like being fixed. I believe, by how many times I had to use a crowbar to get my Pomeranian off of my arm, that dogs think having the package lopped off gives them license to screw everything

We have to have the girl kitty spayed soon, so maybe I'll just threaten him with that.

Maybe you can find a Cat Whisperer. He seems to have issues with glass or ceramic objects.

Speaking of NearFest beer, Chad still owes me a Belexes t-shirt from 2010!

There should be a ProgDay Beer every year - it could just be bottles of Schlitz with a label designed by Michael!

I've been using mine quite frequently of late as I have been buying 500ml bottles of beer, which fit perfectly in this glass.

I still have my glass and coffee mug although I did lose the lid for the coffee mug(if that's what we can call it). I also lost the lid for my musikfest mug(I volunteered there in 2012 and bought it as a souvenir). I don't drink out of them much. They are mostly just souvenirs.

Thanks, Chad. Actually, Kevin Feeley is sending me one. If THAT breaks I'll drop you a line. But I'm keeping this one away from cats and kids!

If I never drank with kids and cats, I'd never drink at all!

They have glasses at your festivals? I don't attend them here, but I'm almost certain there is no glass supplied or allowed in to the grounds, same as in many pubs. Everything's plastic or paper cups. Sad I know, but it became necessary after one too many "glassings".
