Sure, why not, but LOL at the unsuspecting person who puts on Baba Yaga halfway through their playthrough.

I have no use for vinyl, but this is a pretty cool concept.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.

I'm only here to reglaze my bathtub.

That's basically MDK rearranged for a choir of young school kids. I saw it performed at the 1995 anniversary concerts but haven't heard it since, so my memory is vague.

I seen a rendition of this in 2014, before a Magma show in Le Triton.
It is a curiosity but does not stand on its own, it was fun to watch but hardly essential, I think I spun the 96 CD perhaps once or twice.
It is not the full piece, as far as I remember, just 25 minutes.
And I see that what I saw is on YT:

Got tickets for the 3 shows in Paris in October (turns out there is a special "dress rehearsal" in le triton before the full blown shows),
Anyone knows if there will be any surprises, or am I expected to see the same MDK that I got in the Garage Concerts not so long ago?
Any guest appearances? horn section? choir?

Apparently you have the VIP ticket and you already know this....otherwise ask Alexa for a translation :-)

I bought tickets for both nights on the assumption that there will be differences in the setlist, although it seems a given that "MDK" will be performed both nights. I heard it say that "Theusz Hamtaahk" would also be performed, but that doesn't seem realistic - it's been a while since Magma has performed two of their longer epics in the same concert. I would expect them to play a lot of the recent album - then again when I saw them supporting Porcupine Tree a few weeks ago they did a whole hour of pre-1975 material and no new stuff at all. I haven't heard anything about extra instrumentation being involved, but that would be my hope too (horns & choir)...

They've played Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré and MDK recently, although not as part of a single concert.

Back in 2000 when I saw them in Herzberg / Wurzburg, they played either Theuzs / MDK or Theuzs / Wurda itah, but that was eons ago with completely different band members...

Not the cheapest....a bit on the pricey side. I'm assuming these limited big vinyl sets are very pricey to produce. The Cardiacs set I ordered was $160+ US

It is, but it's not unusual, either. (To quote that noted philosopher Tom Jones.) Vinyl prices ought to be coming down as more pressing plants come online, but the opposite seems to be happening.

New vinyls have become quite expensive...35 to 40 Euros is
unfortunately kind of the standard nowadays
