Thread: Equipment That You Sold and Regret

My 1979 natural finish Stratocaster. I found out later it was a special release only for that year, or so I've been told. I got a lousy $500 for it. In fact, its putting me in a bad mood just thinking about it.

Kinda makes my sad strat story kinda pathetic.

Don't feel bad. By the way I have some beach front property in the Sahara you might be interested in.

Oh this is easy (and painful to recount)...I traded in a 1966 Fender Jaguar (Candy-Apple red w/matching headstock) + money to buy a brand new Gianinni Craviola acoustic in the summer of 1978.

    Crap...what was I thinking?!?!?!?!?!?

I know, I wanted a cut-away acoustic and there were not too many out at the time within my budget.
